Your yellow ribbons are part of a community-wide effort to make Tallahassee “Go Gold” during September, which is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
The yellow ribbons are more than just decorations—they’re a powerful symbol of our community’s commitment to finding a cure. This initiative is organized by The Ripple Project, a local nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness and funds for childhood cancer research and support for local families going through any pediatric cancer diagnosis. Every ribbon you see represents a promise to these kids and their families that they aren’t alone in their fight.
